Well. for the past Month or so I have been in Florida living with these old folks (as they refer to themselves)!
Today I was putting the garbage into a bag from the garbage can and I saw a huge cock roach in the bottom of the garbage can! Being a girl I screamed, or more like squealed! I think Grandma and Grandpa were laughing at me. I took the dish soap from the counter and sprayed it on the cock roach! Then I took some water and sprayed that on it! It was close to dead when I dumped it down the toilet! Haha! I had conquered and defeated the ROACH! The Garbage can got a good cleaning out of it, too!!
One funny thing about me being here is what my Grandparents call me.
Grandpa calls me the maid! Grandma calls me that girl!
My Grandpa is going to be 90 on April 13th, and my Grandma will be 86 on April 20th!
So they have a reason for not always remembering what child's daughter I am and what my name it. It does not bother me. Just gives me something to laugh about!
I'm very blessed to have this opportunity to spend time with my Grandparents!
It's been hard at times but I'm still alive and I just have times I laugh it all out!
